RAFAEL MARQUES

Rafael Marques is a mandolinist, composer, arranger, and music producer with a degree in music from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He has built a solid career in instrumental music, having recorded albums with Arabiando, Saracotia, Duo Rafael Marques & Vinicius Magalhães, and Duo Treze Cordas, in addition to his solo projects Pelas Ruas and Sereno.

Rafael also leads the Malassombro Orchestra and works primarily as an arranger and musical director. He has collaborated on major productions such as Baile do Menino Deus and Dorinha Meu Amor, as well as with prominent names in Brazilian popular music, including Zé Manoel, Isadora Melo, PC Silva, Martins, Gonzaga Leal, Carlos Filho, Larissa Lisboa, and many others.
